ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

So in about 8 weeks I'm moving from  Forster on the mid north coast, to somewhere down around Woy Woy.

What I'm hoping to find out from you guys, is what's down there...where's a good watering hole for a Friday afternoon drink? What's there to do of a weekend in the off season? Where's a good spot for some live music on a Friday/Saturday night or clubbing?

Bear and Serious are the only ones I've ever really hung out with, and Serious is ABANDONING us to go to pommyland...bastard...

So basically...I don't know anyone, don't know where stuff us and would appreciate a helping hand getting settled, and getting out and doing stuff socially.

Also my girlfriend will be looking for a job..she's looking online atm, but if anyone happens to know of anything that hasn't made the web, a PM would be appreciated.

Commuting is a bitch, so it's preferable to try and get a job somewhere on the Central Coast.

But if all else fails, try the Sydney job market. Take into account the time it will take to get to & from work if you get a job in Sydney, and the relevant expenditure (fuel or train, bus tickets).

the pub across the road from woy woy cafe do a pretty good bistro meal - awesome salt and pepper squid

gnostic cafe near this pub also do a damn fine breakfast - owned by the mayor of gosford and their children, who play local football, run the place, as well as having staff that play
