ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Movember 09

Ok gents, time to man up and risk the ire of girlfriends and spouses and do something positive for mens health.

It's for your own good

For the past six years, around Movember each year, health professionals across Australia notice a spike in cases of what is commonly known as Moustache Envy.

Sufferers of Moustache Envy are often riddled with feelings of regret for not having grown a Mo, stuck with the smell of shaving cream under their nose because they didn't make an effort for the cause, and a niggling sense of professional inadequacy because their Mo Bro colleagues seem to be getting the best car parks, the largest slice of cake and an early mark on Fridays.

Socially it's no better. Sufferers of Moustache Envy are forced to stand by while their Mo Bro mates are showered with attention on the streets and they endure long lonely nights while Mo Bro mates hang at cool parties and wax lyrical about their new Mo styles.

None of these sufferers have Mo's. All of them had the chance.

Avoid Moustache Envy this Move mber and sign up alongside Australia's finest who are flying the flag for Movember 2009. This year's headline music act for Movember is Australia's biggest band, Powderfinger. Hear what they have to say by clicking on the video image below. Powderfinger are also donating $5 from every copy of their forthcoming album Golden Rule (out Nov 13) sold via their site www.powderfingermo.com. You can get online and pre-order it now.

We've also got Mo legends Dennis Lillee, Max Walker and George Negus on hand to act as Mo Mentors and provide you with inspiration and guidance throughout the month.

If that's not enough to convince you that now is your time to sign up, we have a bounty of partners, activities and general good times signed up for the month of Movember. Expect to see surprises and prizes from Snickers, Cool Ridge, nib and Schick throughout the month.
Come on, avoid Moustache Envy this Movember.

To join the Movembinators team go to http://au.movember.com/register/36401 and follow steps. Once registered youll be sent all the information you need to get donations and get growing as part of our Movember team.

Haha. I'm not sure who this would fall under...probably Bear as he does events?

Would be great. As well, I don't have facial hair I can't participate.

Maybe at the end of the month we can have a fundraiser...take photos of the boys with mo's and make a mankini calendar ;)

Yeah ok. No one would buy that.

I don't know what disturbs me more.

Bear pulled on the mankini more than once, someone actually wanted to take photos of it or that Mick appears to have kept said photos  :-\
