ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Great article on the FFA website about the CCMA team in the NPL.
Mark Jones makes some good points about the promoting of young, local players in the club's scheme of things. Ties in with what Phil Moss is saying.

THE MARINERS....Central Coast now and forever!!

Interesting that it mentions Sam Gallagher. Is he on his way back?

Maybe wrong thread but was at Pluim tonight.

Very young side, being coached to play football. Out from the back, on the ground. Very good structure.

Often boys v men sadly.

With Pellers and Griffiths coming in, that will help. A fit again Matty Simon towards the end of the season alongside Payne would be just amazing (I can dream)

A young kid, MacFarlane came off the bench. The kid is 15. Yes, 15 and was all quality. Such an amazing prospect. He was paying against grown men and just carved. Lovely left foot too.

Bragg is another quality player, really stands out.

Need to stay at this level and we will see the benefits.

Decent beer in the new clubhouse too

Well worth a visit

FFC... what do you think Payne's future is going to be? Do you think he'll be pushing for a first team spot, or is the Premier league his level? I have some vague recollections of him doing some pretty handy things at Fury.

The beer or the evening?
Boys v. Men is great experience but I think we need the addition of some men to keep status in NPL so expect some bigger names to be called up to help out.
It was interesting that the article mentioned Gallagher but isn't Pellers off contract?
and FFC M - love the little insights - good football being played, Bragg was rated at Gold Coast, and a 15 yr old local kid making an impression :overheadl:

It was freaking freezing. Fortunately they now sell James Squire so I managed to struggle through.

Payne? I fear that the A League has passed him by. Compared to (say) Dukey, he is miles behind.

He did manage to score 4 last night!!!. I 'd agree he has had a bit of a blip in his development but I look at what Arnie has done for Matty, Duke and McBreen and I'd love to se Payne after 12 months or even a preseason under him.
