ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hey Guys,

I along with a number of the other Victory faithful are coming up for the game at Bluetoungue and are just wondering if u could put us in the right direction to a good pub to use as our pregame pub on the day.

IGUANAS IS NOT AN OPTION!!!

I don't know why you guys call us Mornington either as it really isn't that bad of a place and you could have picked far worse.

there is a pub right next to our stadium called the cricketers arms. If you guys come in waving your scarfs and chanting, im sure you will get a warm, friendly reception :)

I'm not sure we've ever taken to calling Melbourne 'Mornington', that's more the wont of the smurfs.

Gosford Hotel seems to be the drinking hole of choice for away supporters of late, otherwise the Union, but it's bloody awful.

How many are coming?

I had "Mornington" up on the home page (on the league table), not exactly sure why... it's been corrected now. ;)

You'd know about the Blue Oyster Bar as you come from that City!

Thankyou - at least one of you has some sanity remaining and will answer the question.  Mornington is also what the Cove Fa**ots call us for some dumb reason but I'd rather be there than in Cabrastoner.  We think we'll get about 30ish as Newcastle Away a month later should be our biggest trip for the year.

If you look in the dictionary, the word that you are referring to as being homophobic also has another literal meaning - Bundle of Sticks.  That's what I was referring to cause that's about how useful and respected that the Cove members are to us Melbourne supporters.

I am sorry if I have offended any Sydneysider or any other individual who has read this comment and is offended by it.

this is a fun thread :tv:

Now all we need is a reference to Nazi's/Godwin's Law and we'll have the most stereotypically awesome </sarc> thread ever.

If you want Nazis go to Perth!

Mate I am telling you it was and is not intended homophobic and I have and again will apologise for it.  I also find it hypocritical for you guys to call us tards and think that's ok when it is also a highly derogatory and offensvie term to people with learning impediments etc.  I also did not mention the fact that I was finding the use of that post in the term funny.
