ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I was not real happy last Friday night listening to the Marinators Swearing in their chants & songs. My 4 year old grandson now has added some new words to his small vocabulary. I will be leaving him home this weekend.

I don't disbelieve you Loki, but I was sitting right next to the marinators and couldn't make out a damn thing they were singing. Maybe your grandson has better hearing than me. :)

Solution might be to sit in a different part of the stadium.

1) There wasn't too much swearing, more came from the away bay
2) There is a non-alcoholic bay on the other side of the stadium which families are advised to sit in
3) If you had a GA ticket there's a total of 20 GA bays to choose from, if you have a gold season pass you may want to speak to the club to see if you can be re-located

Failing that this link might help? http://raisingchildren.net.au/articles/swearing_-_cyh.html (apologies for sarcasm)

I understand possible concerns over language but there's a number of bays for families to choose from, the language from the bay is very mild compared to other supporter groups, if the language is in the eyes of security unacceptable then I would understand them giving a warning and if not adhered to they risk being removed from the ground.

if you dont want to hear banter and singing ( on a level where it's Appropriate )
best to use the Family Non drinking bay..

I was in Bay 17 & I could quite clearly hear "F**k off Newcastle" on a couple of occasions. I bring my grandsons to games & I don't want them adding something like that to their vocab either. A bit more class might be in order guys, we don't want to drag ourselves down to that other mob's level.
