Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Tough to pick this week. Fox went with reddy & duke. I loved fitzy's energy and creativity but would be happy to see any of 6 or so of our team get it. Well done lads.

Reddy for the spirit, seip for the hard work and improvement, Kim for the quality and goal, fitzy for the consistent threat and creativity, duke for the effort and goal, sterj for winding back the clock and being involved in most good chances, rose for the body on the line effort, sim for the solid game under pressure for a rookie, ibini for the energy off the bench, Anderson for the improvement, hutch for the consistency, roux for having to back up when he probably wasn't up for it physically...

But I gave it to caceres for stepping up, running himself into the ground, getting more touches than any other player and proving he has what it takes to run the show

it was a performance from back to front. the D stood up . which ment the middies had room and
duke could make a menace of himself .reddy's save of the season . even caceres tackle was a zoolander "magnum" moment .
kim .ooh god, im singing that song . kim's class in midfield I believe allowed caceres to play with freedom and energy in defence.

well I gave It to siep even with the loss of fast eddy he held it together , my 3
ooh kim , were not worthy 2
reddy for denying the sad old diving man with the save of the season 1

I gave it to Reddy.
Siep and Caceras both had their best games of the season.
Kim was good, as was Fitzy and Duke.

This may sound weird but im giving it to Bernie for coming out guns blazing in the second half, really taking it to sydney and I believe lifting the mentality when we looked like crawling into our shell sitting back and playing scared.

fair call . I guess the real highlight, as someone else said. it was a hard call to pick one player when everyone put in a shift.

I think Caceres will be a Socceroo; slow burn realisation of potential.
Totally agree Roy. The only other players that i have said that of after seeing them play a few games are Matty Ryan, Musti,Rogic,Jedi and Trent. They haven't done too badly for themselves! Anthony hasn't quite imposed himself as quickly as some of the others but game by game is quickly growing in confidence. It is as if he now knows he belongs at this level. For mine, on Saturday night he was the best player on the pitch first half by some distance. Still maybe needs some conditioning to impact the full 90 minutes but he will get that by playing week in week out.
