Not sure if there already is a thread on this or not? But who was everyones vote for man of the match against the scummers? Mine personally was for Kwasnik because he tried his guts out all game and played well and scored a brillant goal. What you people think?

Yeah, Kwassie was mine too. I reckon he had a blinder, but he also gets my vote because he's the first striker after Matty to score (on the field, that is  ;D).

Interesting that not a lot of you are picking Wee Mac......I thought he ran the show in the midfield and sprayed the ball around well. His passes nearly always hit the target.

Kwas - Moved well, beat players and scored a great finish that put us back in the match.
Crowell - Defended well and played the ball in that gave us the goal that put us back in the match.
Heff - For at least running at the defense - but mainly for trying to get Vignaroli sent off in order to try and help get us back in the match ;D
Oh and also for compensation for copping the subsequent bollocking on Fox sports  :piralaugh:

Weemac?
Our creative linchpin player in a game where the major thing everybody seems to agree on is that we lacked creativity going forward?

I agree he passed the ball around well... but never through...
or took anyone on and beat them... or got off a shot...
In short offered nothing to our attack except for helping to keep possession.

Hutch can do this.

Weemac is capable of more exciting and rewarding efforts.
Thought he had a very quiet game.

If that was Wee Mac's first game I reckon you'd have a different view FP.

I think we're now judging him by the high standard he's set in the past.

Where as it'll probably be about 10 months before we can consider Kwas for mom again  ;)

Pffffft, sitting in row Z has never looked so safe ;)
Kwas to score again against the reds put your house on it Arab ;D

Re judging Weemac by other games... I am as I do believe he's looked more dangerous in virtually every other game that he's played for us.

But my main criticism this week which I think is pretty significant for all his pass completion rate, is that he did not provide that which we needed most - which is also his designated role. Creative attacking play.

Didn't think he was bad or anything, but certainly not best on park.

I'm with Arab. Thought he did well, but it was extremely hard for him since every time he got the ball he was met by a brick wall in Costanzo, NTS and Kanta. He never put any balls through simply because there were no gaps and there was little movement upfront. He did the sensible thing, he dropped a little deeper to get the ball from the backs, kept possession and sprayed the ball wide. When he did find gaps, I remember he did go for a run and another time got a very nice shot away that went close.
