Fresh from their third finals series appearance in four seasons, the Central Coast Mariners will officially launch their assault on Hyundai A-League 2009/10 with a massive Family Fun Day at Bluetongue Stadium on Sunday, 2 August.
Kicking off at 11am, the day will give Mariners Members and fans the chance to mingle with their heroes and hear what Football Manager Lawrie McKinna and the playing squad has in store for the new season.
As an added bonus, those who have already signed up to be Mariners Members for the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 season will get exclusive access to the home team dressing room at Bluetongue Stadium, and experience the Mariners squads inner sanctum.
While inside the beating heart of Mariners game day preparations, Hyundai A-League 2009/10 Members will be able to pick up their exclusive member pack which includes a Mariners lanyard, keyring, sticker and cooler bag, while Junior Members will receive a pencil case and tattoo sheet.
"Weve had a fantastic journey over the past four seasons, qualifying for three finals series, two grand finals, and of course finishing as Premiers in 2007/08, but we believe season five has the potential to be the best yet," said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman.
"As always, Members will make the difference in our successes this season, and while Lawrie has compiled an impressive squad, with some very shrewd signings, the real impact will be made by our Members as we look to continue building the Mariners brand locally, nationally and internationally.
"We urge all our Members and fans to get out to Bluetongue Stadium next Sunday to meet Lawrie and the boys, your support will give them plenty of confidence going into the first game against Melbourne on 6 August," Gorman said.
The day will be packed full of entertainment, featuring free rides, jumping castles, and plenty of other fun activities for Members and fans to enjoy, new season merchandise will also be available, and StarFM will be broadcasting live from the event with breakfast show hosts Rod and the Flack special guests for the day, as we look forward to what promises to be an exciting adventure in season five.
Entry to the Mariners Fan Day at Bluetongue Stadium on Sunday, 2 August is free via the Western gates under the Brian McGowan Bridge.
Mariners Memberships for the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 season are still available online by clicking here or by phoning 1300 767 442.
