That desperate challenge in the box was great today and what he needs to do to hold a stating 11 spot.

Since he got dropped he has improved 25%+

Considering Wombat was probably his biggest detractor on here, I think it speaks zounds about how well he is playing now that ol Womby is giving such high praise to il capitano

Personally I think Hutch is playing the best football of his career at the moment. And his stirring up the bogan scum fans are always a bonus! We should wear these to celebrate:

His ability on the field varies ... well short of our best player... HOWEVER he does represent and has IMO been the main driver behind the clubs never say die or give up on the field add his leadership no dickheads advice to the young ones coming on ... yer a great clubman and no winning team becomes that way with clubman...

Exactly. Cut him and navy and yellow would come out. He will be remembered fondly for a lot of reasons. His humility. his leadership. His attitude. His Grand Final speech thanking the fans. His leadership of our Grand Final winning side. His hatred of the Bogan Scum. Clubman to the core. He simply IS CCM.

I hate to see players coasting or conserving energy....something Hutcho did a lot in the first half of the season.

Since he was dropped.....that has stopped and he is playing well.

I don't think he's playing exceptionally well at the moment, but some of his teammates (Zac Anderson in particular) have really stepped up, which means our shape works better. Basically Hutcho looks better because everything looks better.

I reckon he took Arnie's departure the hardest. Seemed lost or disillusioned & the errors were just frustrating him.

To go from finally winning the big dance to a ramble in a couple of weeks was probably quite hard to take. Thinking we would rule the league again to find out he doesn't know the names of half the team
