ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

How long ago does this feel now!

Could be worse. Imagine you're a Jets fan - haven't made the finals since 2010, haven't seen a trophy since 2008. We've only missed the finals once in that time (2010, coincidentally), won the league and championship and have really only been bettered by Brisbane in terms of consistent success.

For what it's worth - the lean years are what make the good years feel so good. You don't get to call yourself a supporter for being there when medals are being handed out, you call yourself a supporter for sticking out the tough years.

See your points but we can't afford to lose. We need our crowd numbers back up. 6k per game is not going to cut it. Atlas the scum still had 10k+ crowds when they sucked all these years.

Scum memberships are a lot cheaper than ours - their active support membership is just $130, GA just $120!

If we were to assume that memberships were on average full memberships at the cheapest price:

CCM has 5655 members at $195 totaling $1,102,725
Scum have 9593 members at $120 totaling $1,151,160

70% more members at 38% cheaper price yields about 4% more revenue.

Because revenue per ticket is lower, you'd have to assume their break-even crowd is much higher.

Might depend if the jets can make the money from having fans in the stadium unlike the fact we can't.

Extra bums on seats and crowds can also drive extra sponsorship revenue.

Also how many kids $40 ones are included in ours?

Fair enough. But not sure we'd get that many members with those prices. Central Coast is too lazy to get off their back sides.

No idea, and I did say "if we were to assume"...
