Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Considering an impromteau trip to Melbourne as an early birthday thing...flight are a bit shit with all the others..while Tiger is 39bucks.

I know you get what you pay for...but just how bad are they??

Channel 7 were showing some airways show earlier this year which centred around Tiger Airways and it gave the impression that it was just one big clusterf**k.

This is true. But the show was agreed to by Tiger, so either their marketing team is an absolute retard, or there must be something still keeping people going there aside from the cheap flights. Plus, I have had enough terrible flights with Jetstar (You bastard, Garry).

Then again, I don't wanna risk running into Corrine Grant...that face, ugh.

Got flights next month to Melbourne for $196 return for the three of us.

You pay for what you get so I am not expecting much.

for $39 you would expect it not to be too flash

Probably still better than Deathstar though.

Worst Airline Ever

for the second time in a row we had to have another fly around coming into newcastle with jetstar

the pilot made some excuse about air traffic but sacko and i noticed that he missed his turn and would have come in too fast

this was after we had the roughest landing ever on touchdown to brisbane

I wouldnt fly Deathstar if they paid me $500 each way.

Always late/cancelled. Rudest staff ever.

No matter how bad Tiger might be, it will still be 1st class compared to those f**kers.

/end rant

That Deathstar flight to Newcastle from Brisbane honestly...scared the SHIT out of me. But, I'm poor. And my flights to Gold Coast in December only cost like $33. Plus, until a month ago...I travelled CityRail every single day...soooo....i'm used to shit transport.

i've flown deathstar a coupla times to brissy but from sydney and had no such problems. never flown tiger.

i've had some interesting flights with qantas (including one time sitting next to a nun counting out her rosaries on a flight when cabin staff were strapped down the entire time), but even flying into bumpy, mountain surrounded canberra some 40-odd times including in fog and landing in massive storms in sydney i've never experienced a go-around. that *would* be an interesting feeling, probably in the same way as falling onto a rising seesaw would be though...

I've never experienced any of the above........just lucky I suppose.

Then again I never go for those dodgy type airlines with the starting handle and propellors  ;)

I'll pay the extra money and stay living thanks.

Sheer joy at beating the scum :)
I've flown with Jetstar many times, and have never had a problem. Left on time, arrived on time, no crashes. Haven't tried Tiger, but you can't argue with $39 to Melbourne.

No .. 2 hours is correct. It takes that long to go through the emergency evacuation procedures ...

See, it happens on the big people's planes too... I'd rather be stranded than have my engine on fire...
