ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Ladies and Gents, it's Grand Final time again and obviously that means the Mariners are in it!

We've got all the information you need; how to get to the game, where to meet up with other CCM fans pre-game, plus some other things to think about on the big day right here.

Match Details

Western Sydney Wanderers vs Central Coast Mariners
Allianz Stadium, Sydney
Sunday 21 April
4PM Kickoff

Bus - SOLD OUT
If you are travelling with Coastal Liner we encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Recommended arrival times are as follows:

• Club Tuggerah - 12:30pm
• Central Coast Leagues Club - 1:00pm
• Yellow Army Supporters Coach departing Central Coast Leagues Club - 11:30am

Please proceed to the designated check in area to have your name marked off the manifest. Our Coastal Liner staff will be easily identifiable by fluro vests and the designated check in area which will be clearly marked. Please ensure that your whole party is together when checking in to ensure you are ticketed for the same coach.

Each coach is clearly marked by number, colour and Mariners player. You are required to return on the same coach you travelled to the stadium on. You will be marked off a manifest on your return journey.

We will be departing Allianz Stadium at the Entertainment Quarter Security Parking Area, where we set down, no later than 7:30pm. Please ensure you return to the vehicle prior to this time.

Please note that the consumption of food or beverages other than water in a sealed top bottle is not permitted any Coastal Liner vehicle. We look forward to welcoming you onboard!

Some people want to get there early and enjoy the whole day out in Sydney, some people might want to get into Sydney a little later. These are the suggested trains to aim for (shout out to ccmfans member Bradman for putting this together);

Hamilton 8.40
Broadmeadow8.43
Cardiff 8.50

(Thanks to rbakersmith for this info!)
If you're coming down the North Shore Line on Sunday, be aware that the City Circle will be closed due to trackwork.

From 1:30 there's a special event bus departing every 10 minutes from Stand K at Wynyard to Moore Park (and return services from the bus bays after the match), but before that you'll need to use regular services.

One option is to take a bus from Wynyard to Town Hall, then take the M10 from Park St to Anzac Parade/Lang Rd.

Driving
Parking is available in the Entertainment Quarter, right next to the ground.

Just don't forget there will be a lot of Westies about, so take the proper precautions to make sure your car is secure.

Where to meet
CCM Fans are encouraged to meet before the game at PJ Gallagher’s in the Moore Park Entertainment Quarter (Formerly known as the Fox & Lion) - map of the precinct is here.

As many know, our usual pre-match watering hole for games in Sydney is the KB hotel. The RBB has organised their troops to assemble at the bottom of Foveaux Street near Central at 2:30 for their march to the ground, which will go right past the KB.

Not to say we are anticipating any trouble here, it's just a good idea to keep the two groups of fans separated on the day, which is why we are heading for Moore Park this time and PJ Gallagher’s. It's also a bigger venue than the KB so will able to support a greater number of (thirsty) Mariners fans.

Huge shout out to the Yellow Army for organising the venue!

Other things to consider
As mentioned, the RBB are assembling their troops at the bottom of Foveaux Street near Central at 2:30 for their march to the ground, and it's advisable for all CCM Fans to avoid the area around this time, so make sure you either get in early or give them enough time to clear out on their massive trek up the hill.

So we hope everyone has a great time on Sunday, and if there are any questions, please ask away!

COYY!!

UPDATE:

Missed out on tickets? Can't make it to the game? Don't panic! The Mariners have organised official live sites on the Coast so you can watch the game with other CCM Fans.

Less of a walk = more pints pre-game. I like it

Longer walk .. more of a thirst?

Alternative walking route from Central is via Elizabeth Street (western side) or come out of Devonshire tunnel, then cross to Devonshire, Bourke, Cleveland, Lang Road past S Girls HS, Errol Flynn Blvd (2.5km, allow up to 40mins)

The 11.25am train ex Newy gets in at 2.05pm, for light drinkers

Official live sites have been added - if you know of anywhere else that is showing the game (and are making a bit of an effort - not just "yeah it will be on the TV in the back corner") and want it added to the list, let us know!

I would say no and then say ;) ;)

I'll be on the train but have been on the coach before and they generally say no to taking booze on board, but I think that's mainly so you don't take a carton and leave empties everywhere.

If you want to be 100% sure I'd give them a quick call

. the bigger issue is not being able to use the toilet ... i know quite a few who will not take the coach for this reason. 'tis a long trip home if you have spent all day topping up your bladder

Yeah, coming back from Newcastle a couple of times the bus had to stop on the side of the road for a couple of minutes :D

Point taken. Not sure why they close the loo. Maybe they couldn't be bothered cleaning it after. Or maybe they are afraid of what might come out of some people after a dozen beers...
