Gold Coast have released their strip which is almost identical to our old strip, with a gold top and blue pants. We won't be the only yellow army

This is outrageous, we have a new ugly striped strip and gold coast have released a strip that looks exactly like our old one.

It looks like our team will have to keep a striped strip, which looks inferior to our old one.

It is also ridiculous how we have an away strip too, why doesn't the a -league smarten up and think clearly about how they want to represent their teams.

So what do we do when we have two divisions and 20 odd teams ?

There will always be colour clashes which is the reason for an away strip.

I do think though that the away strip should only be worn when there is a clash of colours.

I for one like the new Mariners strip. Far superior and more professional looking than the old one. As Arabmariner has said, there are only a certain amount of colours to go around. We are the original yellow and blue, and the best. Be thankful that we didn't draw the Roar's colours at the beginning of the A-Leauge. eeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww

Our current strip is amazing and i hope we keep it! Start a bit of tradition, when i saw the photos originally i thought, 'meh'. But once i saw them wear it on the park with numbers and names on it and all the rest, i think we have the best strip in the league. I think the GC strip could look better in the flesh too.. They do have similar coulours but i'm not gonna lose any sleep over it, because as i said, ours is AMAZING!

I think it's fine. Should have had white socks though, it's a bit too blue.

I like us going to the navy and yellow. It's something that can be simple and recognisable into the future. I think one way or another the shift has something to do with the Gold Coast strip (either they picked yellow because it was now available or we went navy to shift away from them as they came on) but I don't much care.

It's not like we've taken on a new colour or anything (like if we'd mysteriously changed colour to poo-brown as the formerly red and blue scum did at the start of the league), and our away kit is still yellow which I'm a fan of (though I wish it were simply all yellow, like Villareal).

well thats what happens when all our jersey rights are contracted to Reebok. i think reebok have lost their imagination all of the jerseys look the same as eachother and or not exciting. on the upside Perth Glory's kit looks pretty good.

The owner of Gold Coast said they chose the colours, Yellow for the sand and Blue for the ocean. Sound Familiar???
