ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. Firstly a disclaimer: I haven't seen the vid of Slater & Hill taking the piss out of a dutch accent (and presuming it's aimed at Verbeek).
However, if you got to You Tube, the vid is linked and says the vid has been pulled, but below that one is another from Total Football dated Dec07.
Harper, Slater and Postecoglou are discussing the then appointment of Verbeek to the national team coach position. The comments made by Slater do underpin a dislike for Verbeek's appointment.
Maybe Slater is showing, yet again, a spiteful bias and unprofessional approach by mocking someone under the glare of cameras, that he doesn't like, knowing that it may end up somewhere - like You Tube. He's used the power of his position as a commentator to be overtly biased against the Mariners for 4 years now, so maybe this is yet another thing that Slater does to vent his spleen on people or clubs he doesn't like?

Story is that a fellow was watching on some direct satellite link - thus his coverage didn't include ad breaks. This was what happened during an ad break. Really, all it is is them taking the piss out of Verbeek's accent, although Slater does it with a slight hint of dislike in his voice.
It's common knowledge that Slater is not Verbeek's biggest fan, so this isn't really any sort of shock.

Especially in this case, when Pim has a great record and the players really respect him. Ange Postecoglou agreed with Bobby Slater. That should highlight the merit of the opinion.
