ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Many drummers acknowledge Starr as an influence, including Dave Grohl of Nirvana/Foo Fighters, Orri Pll Drason of Sigur Rs,Max Weinberg of the E Street Band, Danny Carey of Tool, Liberty DeVitto of Billy Joel's band, Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden, Eric Carr of Kiss, Phil Rudd of AC/DC, Phil Collins, Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater, Pedro Andreu of Heroes del Silencio and others..FFC Mariner said:Ringo.
The Rikki-Lee of the 60's, made zero talent go a long way.

+1
George FTW
He had all the talent of Lennon and the fake replacment McCartney, with only half the ego.
Is Ringos stuff really that bad? I dont mind "dont pass me by"
OJ said:George did not have the same talent as Lennon!! George blossomed under Lennon/McCartney, his early stuff was pretty ordinary. He even stated that himself!

I rate Ringo as a drummer. Not a fan of any of the songs he sings.
BTW what's the go with Serious starting this thread? i.e. what is George Harrison's connection with Muse

Maybe he was just more humble than Lennon?

George. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is sublime.
Ringo was a drummer, and that's it.
Lennon, I reckon he is an enigma. Real talent, but, of all the chickie-babes he could have had, he chooses a complete Fruit Loop who is quite possibly the ONLY woman on earth uglier than me.
McCartney, only JUST less talented than George.
