ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Farewell from Omni

As most of you know I have been engaged for a little over a year now. I'm getting married in 10 days now (the 15th) and as such will be moving to the USA in 11 days.

As such I thought it'd be good to say good bye to you all. I first came onto the original board in 2004, yep that's right, we didn't have a club back then. I remember the first "Central Coast Mariners Fans Group" meeting at what is now Spurs at Erina Fair. It has been great over 5 years to see this group grow and to see the Mariners grow.

I could go on and on about favourite moments & memories but I don't want to bore you all.

Rest assured my support for the Mariners will live on and my love of football will come to San Antonio, I'm already involved in the San Antonio professional football club bid team and will be following the Houston Dynamo in the MLS.

I'm really going to miss so many of you and this football club a lot. Thank you for five wonderful years.

We sent a work colleague back to Septic land having taught him irony, cynicism and the time honoured "sickie". He is now struggling to fit back in.

Try it, they have NFI

As Omni wings his way today to the USA, with Texas as his new home, I can report that his wedding to Channing was small and terrific, carried out with simplicity and Chris Hockman uniqueness.

Chris (Omni) was very emotional last Monday night for his last game after 5 years but will be taking his Mariners shirt and the love of our team with him to spread afar.

All the best for your future life with Channing in the USA. We hope to hear from you and see you from time to time.
