ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

End of A-league Reebok deal

A-League’s Reebok deal to finish at end of season

The A-League’s exclusive deal with Reebok will finish up at the end of the current season.

All A-League clubs at present are contracted to use Reebok apparel for their playing kits but from season seven, clubs will be able to individually organise their own apparel deals.

Football Federation Australia has given A-League clubs the all-clear to negotiate their own apparel contracts once the Reebok deal expires.

It is believed that two-time A-League champion and the league’s best-supported club, Melbourne Victory, have already struck up a partnership with adidas.

Explains the new kit poll on the CCM website

adidas please
Although I'd say we'd stick with reebok, or maybe a smaller brand.

Retro Northern Spirit look with Kappa is it?

BTW, the poll on the CCMFC site isn't going to get much consensus is it?

Who wants a V or navy shirt - visiting MV fans?

I'm hoping that with the club being able to negotiate their own deal, they can bump up the price.

Take your pick...

Lotto, Kappa, Umbro, Puma, Covo, Kelme (Perth - rumour), Errea (Jets - rumour), Reebok (again).

Errea for Jets makes sense - the Olympic connections there are pretty strong. They do some pretty nice gear too, TBF.

For us, if it's not one of the big ones then any of Kelme, Errea, Hummel, Kappa, Lotto, whatever... would be fine. Even Reebok would be fine if it were just us - we won't all be on the same template and they'll probably put a bit more effort in for just one or two clubs as opposed to all 9 or 10.

Just as long as it's not bloody Covo or SSI or some other tinpot operation.

Please make it Topper so we can bring back the purple and yellow violet crumble newcastle breakers away strip!

Lowenna has one of those 'Violet Crumble' shirts Mick. She and I resist every attempt by wife and mother to 'throw this old thing out' - a classic!

Although MarconiGirl/Lowenna would be stoked (her favourite colour combination (look for them at a wedding soon) I don't think it would sit well with Mariners.

Do I really have to explain that?

Ok

Dibo told you to get "out" for your suggestion of the return of the violet crumble strip.

Typool said if its "out" who is it mistaking dibo's "out, now" as the kit maker.

I said you were out (cause dibo told you to)

Soooooooooooo......................thats it.
