ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

This clip has been on here before. Spontaneous combustion!

Greek Supporter to Aussie GGA supporter: "That's not a flare, this is a flare!"lol

Bluetonge's security would shit themselves if something like that happened at Gosford. The cops would end up shutting down the match too.

Seriously though, note that the pitch is surrounded by an athletics track which is where the thrown flares mostly ended up. Plenty of 'safe' space. If this had happened at Bluetongue, Danny could have ended up roasted standing in goal.

Damn, were they handing out flares with every beer they sold or what?
I must concede, a single flare at bluetongue gave me a chuckle, but the shit looked dangerous.

This should be in the "flare" thread as a reason "for flare"

Ah well we can always dream.

Back to my light beer (next season apparently),prawn sandwiches(according to some) and sitting down to watch our single flare  :p

Seriously though all this debate over a single flare.......then you look at something like this and see how nonplussed the officials  are about the whole thing................I know what kind of football crowd I'd rather be in.

Yeah, European football match day is a lay down misere.

Unfortunately, we do have the officials, security and laws prohibiting the use of flares. I, for one, prefer to be a good citizen over doing what looks cool.

Just got told off by my Greek mate and this is part of the email he sent me ...but the Greek fans burn OAKA video you posted was in celebration of Greeces qualification for the World Cup in 1994.

It was the first time they ever qualified for the WC finals.

You can call it their John Aloisi moment.

Of course, they went to the WC, lost all 3 games, did not score a goal and copped 10.
