ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The "Australian connection" (assistant coach Tony Popovic) is credited.

I typed "Crystal Palace" and "Jedinak" into google and there are a butt load of rumours related to this possibility. Fingers crossed something happens to revitalise Mile's career.

This is one of the problems with Australian players and for which we will probably be forever stuck with. It's all about the economy of football. Mile is a wonderful player and in my opinion would do alright in the EPL. The problem with a lot of the big clubs in Europe is that they don't see commercial value in a player such as Mile.

To illustrate the point. A player of the same quality and skill of Mile coming from Brazil with a population base of 193 million with football the no. 1 sport how much do you think he would be worth considering the amount of jerseys and other merchandise that he will sell for the club? Now for Mile coming from Australia with a population base of 21 million with the sport not as passionately followed, what's his worth. So unfortunate and this is why Aussie players will always have difficulty breaking into the big teams.

The latest on Mile is that he is a less than 50-50 chance to sign with Rangers. http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/news/1063783/McCoist-doubts-Jedinak-deal
