I think Tommy is a great prospect but a Socceroos call up...to early yet. Give him some time to find his feet.

I think players should be thrown in and see how they manage. The Rooneys and Kewell's of the world flourish... and you have to find out whether a player can or will take longer.
No one in the HAL has shown more promise than Tommy this year, including a now incumbent Archie.
The kid has better feet NOW, than any player in the Socceroo's bar only Kruse. Nothing to be lost in giving him some minutes in a friendly, despite Holger's cotton wool warning. But much that may be gained.
While we are talking of Mariners and Socceroos, anyone know why Musti is not getting off the bench for the Under 19's?? Injury?? Otherwise it's baffling to me?

They should definitely be back. I'd say Matty will definitely play for us, Tommy, I'm not as sure about, but probably, as I doubt Holger will give him more than 20 minutes. Though personally I'd like to see him start for the socceroos.
