    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. The late Johnny Warren and Joe Marston, were honoured by being announced the inaugural PFA Alex Tobin Medalists, while Central Coast Mariners Andrew Clark  and Newcastle Jets Adam DApuzzo, were today awarded the inaugural PFA Kimon Taliadoros Scholarships.
One recognises achievement by an experienced player in preparing for life after football.

Andrew Clark not only helps marshal the Central Coast defence; he also acts as the Mariners Head of Sport Science (Strength & Conditioning Coach). Having obtained a Bachelor of Sport Science in 1996, Andrew has committed to a Master of Philosophy in Sport Science at the University of Newcastle since joining the Mariners. The focus of his thesis is the time and motion analysis of elite professional footballers through the use of GPS technology.

Congratulations!!!

Having to train, play, be the Strength & Conditioning coach PLUS study and write a thesis sounds like a lot of hard work.

He definitely deserves it :)

Well done Clarkey. The Mariners come up with yet another first. How many other current players do you know that can ply their trade and play football as well?

How to make sure you are set up for live after football? Do it whilst playing football!
