ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

At end of Baldwin Ave/Parade, Asquith - eastern side, straight down from station about 400m

Northern Tigers have been bagging hats full of goals in recent weeks - good test for the defence.

But bugger, can't go!

Matt Ryan: 7/10- didn't have too much to do. solid when called upon.

Pedj Bojic: 6- not overly involved, but was good moving forward and strong defensively.

Trent Sainsbury: 5.5- limited involvement but overall played decently. subbed off at half time.

Sam Gallagher: 5.5- like Sainsbury, fringe involvement. also looked solid.

Marc Warren: 8.5- very impressive performance. solid defensively, got forward very well down the left and participated very well moving forward. possible man of the match.

John Hutchinson- 5-good passing and distribution in an unfamiliar role at the baser of the midfield diamond. sometimes a bit slow to get the play moving forwards. subbed off at half time.

Brad Porter: 5- not a very significant impact on the game.

Matt Lewis: 5.5- not a bad performance, didnt have the impact of Warren down the left hand side. covered at left back when warren pushed forward.

Mustafa Amini: 8- looked very promising. dangerous moving forward in the attack, taking on players, etc, with good direction and creativity. possibly a bit weak in challenges, but more than made up for by strong attacking play. had one shot from around the penalt spot from a porter cut back that probably should have been a goal, but was placed too close to the keeper, allowing him to make a good save.

Nik Mrdja: 5.5- decent. a few shots, including a thunderbolt from well outside the box, too close to the keeper and saved. subbed off mid first half.

Adam Kwasnik: 6.5- solid performance. some good attacking movements, including a shot cleared off the line. did a lot of swearing in general.

subs:
Bernie Ibini-Isei: 5- looked at me when i walked around behind the mariners bench before the game and said to my friend "hey, thats bernie ibini-isei". came on for Mrdja early. struggled to influence the match. looked quite fast, but just didnt find the opportunities to use that pace. one shot on his left foot from the edge of the penalty area mid second half was a good chance, but went wide.

Rostyn Griffiths: 5.5-came on at half time. decent but not significant.

Chris Doig: 5.5- limited influence. can yell very loudly. on at half time.

Josh Rose: 5- played in midfield. looked solid when he was on the ball, but was rarely a crucial figure in the mariners attack.

the number six: 3.5- came on with only about 2 minutes left, and hit problems immediately, with many crowd members unable to identify who he was. possibly brady smith? seriously though, not nearly enough time to have any influence on the game.

the number 26 or 22 or something: 3- came on with about 2 minutes left and immediately had the same problem as the number six. scores half a point left because no-one could even suggest a possible identity for him. possibly a trialist or youth player.

Oliver Bozanic: 6- came on for Hutchinson at half time, with similar results. looked decent but rarely moved forward with the ball.

Thanks someguy - at least Mustafa Amini and Mark Warren seem to have done ok' Bernie has barely played NSL this year, often on the bench, but I love his potential and attitude. Hope he stays with us.
