CCM Old Boy's Game

These guys deserve a thread;

The Central Coast Mariners hope to kick off a tradition that will see an Old Boys game hosted at a home #F3Derby every season.

Some of the boys playing include:

Mile Sterjovski

Adam Kwasnik

Damien Brown

Patrick Zwaanswijk & John Hutchinson (will play the first half before commencing coaching duties)

Dean Heffernan

Matt Crowell

Justin Pasfield

Vuko Tomasevic

Matt Nash (will play the first half before commencing coaching duties)

Paul O'Grady

Matthew Trott

Here's hoping this becomes a regular fixture for the club.

My understanding is that this is hoped to be an annual event.

Would be even better in future years if it could be an old boys F3 Derby - i.e. the Jets put together a team of former scummers. Imagine Hutch & Griff in their 40s a few years from now double-pegging one another?

Old Boys were playing Old Boys. Yellow were the "home" team, navy were the "away" team.

They played across field, approx. 18 yard box to halfway. It was more of a kick about between a dozen former players than an actual game.
