CCM are looking for someone who speaks French, that's all I can say about it (I actually don't know why), but they could really use the help, please let me know and I'll get you in touch with the right people. PM would be the best way to do this.

How much french do they need? i have some very rusty french from uni, but i'm a long way from fluent.

your point re: coach or staff member may be valid(despite that being a long shot as we only have hire aussies or british people for coaching staff), i would think its fair to suggest that if it were a french club coming, atleast one person within that whole club would be able to speak both french and english fluently

Maybe the club is getting an exchange student, and their main language is French?

Isn't there independent professional services that do translating - I mean someone here might have some competence in French -  but if it's something important like player contracts or management deals or the like (legal), wouldn't both the club and the person needing the French translation fell more comfortable knowing a professional translator was telling them the correct translation?

I mean Paolo, or Fedelta, or myself, could put their hands up to do the job and tell the poor person a pack of untruths and there is no professional liability.
