ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

car parking at stadium australia

a great game last night but carparking what a joke $20 flat rate i thought was way to expensive and then to get the bus from the carpark to the stadium it cost $2. Then it took me at least 30 minutes to get out of the carpark. I know next time to catch the train much more relaxing and alot cheaper, and if someone else blows there horn in the carpark i will jamb it up there arse. Sorry about whinging i just had to get that of my chest.

The ticket machine in the aquatic centre car park was broken so everyone had to queue at 1 window.

That wasted about 20 mins and the queue was about 50m by the time I left

Farcical

You could have either used free public transport or drove down you had a choice. $20 is reasonable for parking in and around Homebush and Moore Park and if you decide to drive you know you have to pay.
When free transport is on offer i know what to take.

Agree, if parking was cheap everyone would drive and then it would be a real shitfight.

Free transport makes it real easy

Just a hint for future: if your going to drive to homebush pre book a parking ticket in P1. Also it only takes about 10mins to get out of P1.

I left the CC at 4.40, got to one of the stadium's car parks at 6.15. Easy walk into the stadium and was in my seat at 6.45. Absolutely easy run down and completely hassle free.

Much, much easier than the SFS shit fight and only just a little bit more for parking. Considering there was 57,000 at the game, it was a dream.

$20 is dirt cheap for Sydney parking, its the inability of anything in this State to actually f**king work that gets up my nose.

The poor lady in the ticket booth copped some fine old sprays from people - quite how it was her fault I dont know ? Maybe she nipped out when it was quiet and gave it a kicking so she could have 200 odd soaking wet football fans queuing for ages and abusing her?

I also discovered you could prepay when I got to the booth - live and learn. Still gave someone time for the fresh air to hit them and the "ZOMG I'm so pissed" phase to start lololol (no names, no pack drill)

Back on topic, it was a nightmare getting out of the car park at Homebush when we took the kids to see a show at the dome, so I'm not surprised it was bad with 57k trying to get away..

I was in P1 and it was easy to get out of the carpark and up to the F3, in fact the F3 was great going down and coming up, apart from the inability to see 50m in front of yourself when it really rained.

I was in P4 and it was straight out after the match with no delay whatsoever. Much easier than Gosford station car park after a Mariners game with no PMF (still pisses me off we don't have them anymore).

The precinct is not particularly friendly to private cars coming into the area when there's a big event on.It was actually designed to encourage the use of public transport.

The parking stations are best done by pre booking. There's only a limited number of those.

If there had been 80K+ at the stadium you might have rocked up to find no parking spots available at all.

My friends and I all went in by public transport. Learning patience also helps.
