ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Caceras appreciation thread

Caceras has played some great games recently and has been unlucky not to have scored a few more goals in the short time he has been with us. I'm really enjoying watching him tie the defence in knots and his brand of exciting, quality strikes on goal.

Also surprising to see his position on the "shots on target" table below considering he was out injured earlier in the season. Surely a double during a game isn't too far away.

Thanks for your great contribution so far this season!!!

At the moment he has self belief.
He backs himself for the shot. He wants the ball. Has good movement.
He's riding his confidence. This can go in one of two directions. After a while his confidence diminishes because he is just not as good as he thought he was. Or he scores and sets up goals left and right and confidence grows even further and we have another socceroo on our hands.

Is he having a run of a few good games or is he actually quality and a match winner?

I was wondering how he was going to go last night against a good defensive unit. It is one thing owning a badly out of form Perth Glory but a whole different story against the best defense in the league. I thought he did exceptionally well in the first half when we weren't playing our best and its great to see him & Mile both getting shots on target and scoring goals. I think 3 of his shots required quality saves from Galekovic.

Whilst Tommy still lives on in my heart, Adrian is rapidly become more than just a "bit on the side"

Since moving to a central role, his confidence has lifted. Adelaide needed to man mark him and that takes the DM out of the game giving more space/time to Jedi etc.

A MF of Jedi, Owens, Caceres and AN Other will pwn this comp
