Bus going down to Pirtek?

Hi Everyone, am heading down to the game on 1 Jan at Pirtek? anyone know of a supporters bus going down there? One way/return options? many thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me Recky, going down on a bus might have been fun but not to be. Have you ever heard of the club sending down supporters buses?

There have often been coaches promoted by the club, operated by Coastal Liner. I've used them multiple time (and I know Recky has too) including both matches at Pirtek in 2014 and the last one at Allianz.

To be fair, the last time (Pirtek 19 Nov), one single coach did both the Tuggerah and Gosford pick-ups and was still less than half full. Can't blame Coastal Liner for giving up. "You don't know what you've got til it's gone..."

Marinators used to fill a bus, maybe 2, to games to Newcastle (Sydney was always train + pub crawl) - but that was with heavy promoting and constant pushing from @Deej

. yep buses are hard

. we have used them a few times either through the club, marinators or yellow army ... you really need to enjoy the ideal of travelling with a bus load of fans, or for it to be super convenient for you personally

. i think the novelty wears off for many and it is often more convenient to make other arrangements - so the extraordinary efforts of the few that organise these things are quickly de-valued

I caught a bus to the scum dome. Going up was ok, but coming home with a bus full of pissheads was painful. Added to that, the agro involved in getting out of the car park… I swore I'd never do it again.

Yes, that's the one. They were also putting beer bottles under the tyres of the bus.

I heard rumours that piss was being dropped down on us and swore I'd never go to that cesspit of a shit hole ever again.
