Putting together the rumours and hints dropped on this forum and also this quote on SFC forum;

Source, Jurmans facebook. He also said he doesn't know how long Bozza is there for but could this be a sign that Bolton out next season and Bozza in or more likely just training with Sydney to keep up the fitness?

Is Bozza off to Sydney FC?
What do you all think?

I actually am wondering (and commented on their forum) if John Aloisi left CCM where he scored goals and pushed us over the line for the premiership, then went to SFC where he has died of dandruff and turned into Zombie Aloisi. Will the same sort of effect happen for Bozza? Will he turn into a powdered doughnut and every shot that gets blasted at him goes straight through into the goal?

Its likely. Moral of story, dont buy our leftovers.

I have a horrible feeling that SFC will spunk more of Franks money on him in a desperate attempt to have a "name" that will put bums on seats.

You know, exactly what Aloisi cant do

Can just picture Bozza now in SFC changeroom, see's some 'whitepowder' on the massage table and hooks into it only to be told it's Aloi$i's dandruff

TBH I was never fussed about Bozza coming to the Mariners, I respect what he's done in the game and respect how he got back to fitness and fully appreciate what he's gone through......but IMO 1) A keeper generally is only as good as his defence (but a keeper can certainly organise them which Bozza would do well), and 2) I'm pleased Danny is staying for a little longer, he has so much potential

You know its going to happen

Doesn't faulty bolty have a contract through to june 2010?

and after this piece he may be less than popular.

If it does happen will he see him in a dandruff add as well?

I think the people who really got most out of him was the keepers especially danny.

The Bozza deal was a great one for us and for Bozza.

We've got two very good/promising goalies on our books. If my memory serves me correctly, Danny has just signed a two year deal and Redmayne is here until end of season 5.

Bozza would have to be a marquee deal I would think. I just don't think the cost would justify the difference between Bozza and Vukovic. We would be better off spending that sort of money on an awesome midfielder in my opinion.

Let Sydney FC spend up big on salary cap. They've already got a marquee so it could only mean compromising the quality of players on the field (or punting Aloisi).

I think that we got lucky getting bozza when we did - i think if sydney sign him it will cost them  a lot more then it cost us....

Does anyone else here think that Bosnich being 36 compromises his value and money earning ability a little? Would Sydney really see it as feasible to lash big bucks on a guy who only has a relatively short time left in his career...ohh wait Aloi$i..but you get my point right? I think the deal we had him on worked a treat, Danny and Redders would have learnt a lot which will leave them in good stead for the future.

With Bolton trying to further destabilise the squad with his whining in todays SMH, they might just punt him to NQ and get Bozza in for a year or two.

Of course, he will injure himself horribly after 2 games as is the norm at SFC

Goal keepers tend to have a longer shelf life than actors with a dodgy knee. Bozza has no injuries and still has the natural ability and knowledge of the game to be able to play at a-league level for quite a few years.

much better prospect than aloisi, but probably still not worth the amount that aloisi is on though

Also, what is better than having him as your shot stopper?

Slotting them in past him!  ;)

Looks like it could still be on the cards?

http://au.fourfourtwo.com/news/94714,sydney-hungry-to-prove-a-point.aspx

SYDNEY FC's players have turned to a former boxing world champion for some fighting spirit as they look to finish the season by knocking over Newcastle Jets.

The FC players were observed by former Sydney-based champion Kostya Tszyu at their Friday training session and he later enjoyed a chat with numerous members of the squad including John Aloisi. Mark Bosnich also took time out to speak to him.
