ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The Central Coast Mariners greatest ever goal scorer will once again wear yellow and navy, after Adam Kwasnik booked a return flight from his season with the Wellington Phoenix in order to rejoin his former team-mates for the AFC Champions League 2009 and subsequent Hyundai A-League 2009/10 season.

Kwasnik will soon begin training with his former team-mates before making himself available for selection for the Mariners opening AFC Champions League match against Korean FA Cup winners Pohang Steelers at Bluetongue Stadium on Wednesday, 11 March.

IMO should just be put on bench like he was at the 'Nix...
Will not change anything, isn't the type of signing we need.

Kwas will be a squad player for us and hopefully he can put pressure on some of the others to keep their spots and lift their games to a new level. He also knows LM very well and what is expected so i think it is a good signing.

Poor signing but not completely useless.

He should make the Yoof team stronger.

I just hope LM doesn't make him Teacher's Pet again and play him in front of better players.

at least we signed a player, not the ideal player of choice.. but better him who knows how the team works and plays than nothing, i hope there are more signings to come

totally disagree IMO, macallister will be loving a great wide player like kwas

(chips in with the much needed goal every now and then too!)

I agree with you azza, finally someone who will run to the byline and keep defenders guessing.
sometimes wayward with shots but no one 100%.
If you look at the stats the most interesting one is who has the most assists.
Those figures tell that the strikers need players to get them into position rather than the strikers having to cart the ball up with two defenders climbing over them and then trying to turn and shoot. (i.e fred to thompson or allsop) and recently against CCM Minicon and Zullo for Van Dyke

Signing Kwasnik is really going to ignite the enthusiasm of those who popped their heads inside Bluetongue for an occasional look at the Mariners over the last few years isn't it?

Mind you, with Osman off to the Gold Coast, we do need someone to swear at whenever they get pantsed by the opposition or stuff up an important pass or clear goal shot.

Fire up the 'forfaaarkssakekwassi'.

Note: a winger is a forward. The world has gone mad...must say those unpronounceable Asian clubs will be quaking in their sushi at the prospect of facing the Kwas.
