Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

A V.I.P. sponsorship for the Mariners
Thursday, 22 March 2012 3:00 PM
Central Coast Mariners are thrilled to confirm V.I.P. Home Services as an Official Sponsor of the Central Coast Mariners and Player Sponsor of striker John Sutton.

V.I.P. Home Services Founder and Chairman, Mr Bill Vis said that partnering with a club that has such a strong following was an easy decision.

“We see the Central Coast region as a crucial component to V.I.P.’s long term growth and getting behind the Mariners is great way for us to support sport in the local Central Coast community,” Mr Vis said.

“We’re an international company wanting to support sport throughout the country. Sport plays such a vital and important role in shaping our communities. It’s great to be helping such a well deserving club."

Ned Negus, General Manager, Marketing & Commercial, is confident that V.I.P. will be embraced by Mariners fans, and is delighted to welcome the company to the clubs partner family.

“It’s fantastic to be able to bring another international brand with huge local ambitions such as V.I.P. on-board," he said.

"During discussions with Bill Vis over the past few months it became very apparent that V.I.P. value sponsorship as a core component of their marketing mix and we’re up to the challenge of helping V.I.P. achieve their objectives. Bill has taken his business from start-up to a wonderfully successful position – his support to help us do the same is greatly appreciated by the club and we invite our fans to embrace V.I.P too.”

The deal is an initial one-season partnership, with an option to extend that further – and Negus urges fans to help ensure that happens.

“V.I.P. have made a strong initial commitment and are a big player in sponsorship. The partnership can grow very simply thanks to our fans – if you need cleaning services or are interested in becoming a franchisee, we urge our fans to do so via the dual branded website as it will make a difference for the club,” Negus explained.

V.I.P. Home Services was the first company to start gardening franchising in 1979. Now, V.I.P. has over 1100 franchisees across Australasia, providing services in garden maintenance and lawn mowing, home cleaning, commercial cleaning, carpet cleaning and window cleaning.

Just mowed the lawn this morning, but my house seriously needs a dust and clean. Will definitely push the work VIP's way.

This sponsorship is great news. Here's hoping that the finals series and ACL will attract even more sponsors to fill up our coffers.

Everyone should press the link in the first post.

The Mariners get money through every enquiry on the joint website regardless if you take up the quote or not.

Have had them out to give a quote, which we plan on accepting. 'Her indoors' has just been a bit slack picking a date. You'd think she'd jump at doing it! ::)
