ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

5th Year Memberships

I am wondering if the mariners are doing anything for those who are getting their 5th year memberships? I read on the melbourne forum that there is a special 5 year pack, as well as the priority to choose seats at their new stadium.

Am only on 4th year of member, but anyone on 5th know if anything different is getting given?

I haven't heard anything but that would be nice.

2 games in Canberra!

Seriously though, I doubt it, my membership hasn't turned up but if it was anything it would be when you get the pack so any of us will find out on Sunday. wouldn't be hard for the less than 400 foundation members but hey it's a community club

i have only had membership for one season...
but surely those who have been there for 5 years straight deserve something special?

Here's a unique idea I have.

When the boutique stadium is built at Tuggerah, have the club go through it's records and have the seats in the stand named after the people who have been 'members' since the first season and continued right through to the day the stadium is opened.

Just a little plaque on the back of the seat...... "Seating provided by the continuing support of the Mariners from 2004/05 to 2010/11(?) of member Mr. xxxxx" or wording similar to that.

Nice little touch to say thanks for the continuing support from day 1, here's what we've been able to achieve due to that sort of support.

I do like Ursus' comments about buy 5 get the 6th free though!

. interested to know the real numbers ... our foundation membership numbers are beyond 400 ...

. iirc in the first season it actually cost more to be a 'member' extra over the cost of a season ticket ... i'd suggest that number would be particularly low ... any ideas?

I may of been wrong, but the first season in the members magazine they listed all the foundation members and the list was not overly large (my memory, possibly faulty, was around 380). may have also had more by the end of the season.

I thought that membership was available as a seperate entity or was contained in the season ticket. allowed people like omni (volunteer on game days) to be members while not paying for a ticket that they didn't use.

. thanks dru

. but i thought the 'optional membership' was also to provide additional benefits such as after match functions, etc ... in addition to the 'i can't make every game' crowd. might try to dig up the old paperwork if i can maintain the interest later
