ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

47 days is too long.

I won't.

C**ts better not take me for granted again.

If the club wants long term season ticket holders they shouldn't take the piss.

Its a horrible wait but starting from the next home game i have 7 games in a row in which i will be attending, 5 home games and 2 away games. I guess its worth the long wait

Momentum is lost. then mad dash with games. hard to keep enthusiasm. In some countrys there would be a riot.

I would rather have this break of home games, one to give the field a chance to get back to what it use to be, and the more home games at the end of the season the better, considering we moved 2 games to canberra its no surprise this happened plus it doesnt help we have the international break in that period

TBH, I'm not sure any credible defence of the clubs actions can be mounted.

IF the ground issues are the real excuse (Hmmmm) then games could have been moved to Sydney or even (God forbid) the Scumdome.

Greed winning over football is not what you would expect from a community club (remember when we used to be one?)

Can confirm from very good sources the stadium is closed between the 17 of October & 29th of November for necessary maintenance work to be completed as recommended by a consulting group.

Doesn't explain the movement of the Perth game though ???

Must have negotiated the date as numerous times it has been documented as closed till the 29th to complete the works *shrugs*

well i think if the issue of the ground not being ready is correct, mariners should play in canberra, it gives them a chance to see a game.. stop complaining.. we get like most games at home in the summer which i think is the time most people are gonna be ready to go to a game..
plus we are one of two clubs in the aleague turning a profit, so im not sure if its about the money...

Well said Charles

going to games is a habit, allow that habit to be broken and you lose people.

Its really very simple
